About

Naïla Opiangah is a Gabonese artist, architect, and founder of Cinq et Trois, an Accra-based studio focused on architecture and design. Her artistic practice is deeply informed by structure, memory, identity, and the emotional relationship between people and space. Working across painting, drawing, and mixed media, she creates pieces that explore layered narratives through texture, form, and subtle symbolism in her compositions. Her work reflects both personal introspection and a broader dialogue around belonging. Her visual language uses nude female form to tell stories about herself and the world. With her paintings, she builds plots and themes fueled with a desire to trigger the viewer’s curiosity and pulling them in through a distinct palette of green, browns and blues.
